Implementation services

Get your SessionLab account set up around your team’s own workflow, so everyone starts with your templates, forms and settings ready to use.

Rolling out SessionLab to a larger team? With our implementation service, we set up your account around the way your team already designs and delivers sessions. Your team starts in a workspace that already reflects your process, instead of a blank one.

Implementation is a one-time project, available on Business and Enterprise plans. It’s especially useful when you’re rolling out SessionLab to many facilitators at once, or want everyone to follow the same design and delivery process from the start.

Why use implementation?

When a whole team moves to a new tool, the hardest part is often agreeing how everyone should use it, not learning the features. Without a shared setup, processes that worked before can break in the move: each facilitator builds their own way of working, steps get skipped, and the benefits of a shared workspace get lost. Teams that start from a ready setup are also more likely to keep using SessionLab once the rollout is over.

Implementation can help you:

  • Get your team working in SessionLab faster, starting from a setup that already fits your process

  • Keep your process intact, so the way you design and deliver sessions carries over instead of breaking in the switch

  • Improve adoption across your team, because people start in a workspace that makes sense to them, rather than a blank one they have to figure out

  • Standardize how sessions are designed and delivered, with your own templates, forms and export format ready for everyone

  • Use more of your plan from day one, including workspaces, Pages, Forms and AI instructions

  • Save your team the setup work, because we configure the account for you

Onboarding vs. implementation

Every Business and Enterprise plan includes a 1-hour live onboarding session and full access to SessionLab Academy, the same starting point for every team.

Implementation goes further: we build a setup tailored to your team, with your workflow, templates, forms and export format, and walk your team through it.

How implementation works

A dedicated team member from our Customer Success team works with you from kickoff to rollout and beyond, so you always know who to turn to.

  1. Map your workflow. In a working session, we look at how your team designs and delivers sessions today, from the first request to delivery, and agree on a plan for what we’ll set up in SessionLab.

  2. Share your materials. You send the documents your team already uses, such as needs assessments, facilitator guides or feedback forms, and we turn them into reusable Page and Form templates.

  3. We set up your account. We configure your teams, workspaces and settings, your preferred PDF export and, where useful, AI instructions.

  4. Review it together. You share one round of consolidated feedback, and we make adjustments before rollout.

  5. Walk everyone through it. Your whole team gets a tailored walkthrough, plus a short tutorial on how your account is organized.

  6. Check in after rollout. About two months later, we meet again to see what’s working and fine-tune where needed.

How long it takes

Most projects are up and running within a month of kickoff. The exact pace depends on your processes and how quickly materials and feedback come together, and we’ll plan the timing with you. A typical project looks like this:

  • Week 1: we map your workflow together and you share your materials

  • Weeks 1-3: we build your setup

  • Weeks 3-4: you review it, and we fine-tune

  • Week 4 or later: your team walkthrough, timed around your rollout

  • 1-2 months after rollout: a check-in to see how it’s going

Working together

Implementation works best as a partnership. To keep things moving, we’ll ask you for a project lead as our main contact, access to subject-matter experts when we need their input, your existing materials, consolidated feedback within the agreed timeline, and someone to bring your team together for the walkthrough.

What’s included, and what isn’t

Implementation covers everything agreed in your plan at kickoff. It doesn’t include custom development, API integrations or custom analytics, bulk migration of existing content, change-management consulting, or changes to the scope after approval. If you need more along the way, we’ll agree the extra scope, timing and cost with you in writing before any work starts, so there are no surprises.

Need something more custom? On the Enterprise plan, onboarding is fully tailored to your organization and can include implementation workshops, API integrations and other customizations, scoped with you as part of your Enterprise setup.

Ready to get started?

Implementation is a one-time fee, invoiced when the project starts. Every project is scoped to your team, so talk to our team about your rollout and we’ll put together a quote.
