Your SessionLab account contains valuable information, including your sessions, templates, and collaborative workspaces. To help keep your account secure, SessionLab offers two-factor authentication (2FA).
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of protection to your account. In addition to entering your password when signing in, you'll also be asked to verify your identity using an authentication app. This means that even if someone gains access to your password, they won't be able to access your account without the second verification step.
How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication
To enable 2FA on your account:
Open Account Settings
Select Preferences
Click Enable two-factor authentication
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process
Once configured, you'll be asked for a verification code from your authentication app whenever you sign in to SessionLab.
How to Disable Two-Factor Authentication
If you no longer wish to use two-factor authentication, you can disable it at any time in your Account Settings > Preferences, by clicking Disable two-factor authentication. After this, your account will revert to password-only authentication.
If you have any questions, encounter issues while setting up two-factor authentication, or would like to share feedback, contact the SessionLab support team at support@sessionlab.com.
