SessionLab’s new AI features are designed to help you plan and refine your sessions even faster. These features are currently opt-in only, and access is managed at the account level by account admins.
Only account admins can manage AI access for the team. If you're a team member and would like to use the AI tools, please contact your SessionLab account admin.
Please note: Using the AI assistant to generate a block in your session or to create the session agenda does not require opting in. The opt-in applies only for the AI features that require the AI to read the content of your sessions (such as rewriting, changing the tone, translating your session).
How to Opt-In to AI Features
Through your Account settings, click on Team Settings on the left hand side.
Toggle the AI Usage Agreement setting to Enable AI Features for your account.
That’s it! Your team can now access AI tools within their session planners.
You can also opt into using the AI features through any session in the Session Planner, if you click on the Ask AI button under your session title and description.
If you choose one of the features that require opting in (such as adding categories or rewriting) and your team hasn’t opted in yet, you’ll see a prompt to do so. You will be able to click 'I Agree' if you are an account admin.
How to Opt Out
If you would like to opt your team out of using AI Features, you can go back to Team Settings and toggle the setting off to Disable AI Features.
Once disabled, AI tools will no longer be available to your team.

What Happens When AI Features Are Enabled or Disabled?
When AI features are enabled, the AI assistant will have access to your sessions (however, this data will not be used for model training or refinement), and your team members will see AI-assisted features such as ask AI, adding categories, and rewriting assistance directly inside the session editor.
When AI features are disabled, your team members will no longer see the AI-assisted features in their sessions and AI will not have access to your sessions.
